Darius Fraser attended Concordia University, Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is expected to graduate from the Maine College of Art and Design’s Woodworking and Furniture Design program in May, 2026. He currently lives in Portland Maine. He interned at Woodhull Millwork over the summer of 2025.

As a woodworker and furniture designer, Fraser’s work is a study in designing and building furniture solutions that also challenge the normal perspective of how furniture is made and the forms it can take. Primarily focused problem targeted and multipurpose furniture. Fraser’s work is primarily constructed out of American hardwoods while making use of modern hardware for seamless interaction with moving components. Fraser’s work is a study in creating furniture that solves the stupid problems that can arise from modern living.
